ATHELETIC GUIDELINES
All athletes are expected to dress up for all game days, regardless whether or not they are able to attend or participate in the game. Failure to dress for game days will result in the athlete not being allowed to participate in the next game and could possibly bar the athlete from any further participation in the sport. The required dress for games days is for Boys - dress pants, shirt, and tie or pre-approved team attire, for Girls - dress skirt, pants and blouse or dress or pre-approved team attire.
Boy's	All boy's participating on any of the Athletic Sports Teams of South Haven Christian School will be expected to abide by the standards for appropriate dress and grooming. Cleanliness, neatness, appropriateness and modesty are the primary concerns regarding dress of all students. Any boy participating on SHCC teams must abide by the hair code, as stated in the Parent/Student Handbook - "Hair is not to extend below the middle of theear and cannot touch the eyebrows. It should be trimmed in the back and not touch the collar. Trendy or worldly associations, such as shaved portions of the head, excessive spiking and exessive coloring will not be permitted. Side burns should not extend below the bottom of the earlobe." Other standards which all boys participating in athletic sports teams are expected to comply with are - "no body piercings, tattoos, or earrings are permitted." Please see the Parent/Student Handbook for a complete understanding of the Appearance standards expected of all students at SHCC or whom represent SHCC on our Athleteic Teams. Students should not have any jewelry of any kinds on (rings, necklesses, etc.) for practices or games, this is not permitted in games.

Other standards which all girls participating in athletic sports teams are expected to comply with are - "no tatoos or body piercing with the exception of two pierced earrings in each ear will be allowed".
